    B & W in recognition of this month's DCMag

Since the theme of this month's DCMag is black and white I thought why not start a thread.

This is an old photo that in colour had a bright blue cloudless sky, when converted the sky was a uniform grey, so inspired by the Mag I took one of their skies and layered it in.

Thanks Dave. Think I prefer your Wheat shot in colour, although the ocnversion still works well. The second is a cracker though, great sky.

Good shots there Matt, think I prefer the first to the second. There's something about that fallen gravestone that makes the shot.

Nice job of adding in the sky spin, gives the photo some added depth, and nicely done.

Dave, top shot, it really does look like something taken back in the 40's. I take it this was for a theme day or something ?

Either that, or Dave is actually 86! Big Smile [:D]

Nice capture Dave, a lot of expression from an almost expressionless face (if that makes sense?)

Yup. It was from last years war weekend. I can't remember if he decided to pose like that, upon seeing one more lens aimed at him, or what.

The shot itself is too dark. At the ELR, you're either shooting into the sun, or your subjects are too well lit due to you having your back to the sun.

I really like the wide angle Matt, very haunting.

Nothing wrong with the level shot, but I really like this low angle shot.
