Why do so many people make a big thing over high ISO noise and then state they rarely use anything but ISO100.........

Exactly why I chose to save £500 and get a d200! (Though the extra ISO would have been nice for the little low light stuff I do, I figure that better glass will help to make up for it)

Anyhow, Do D200 users have exceptionally long thumbs?

I got the battery grip today, and I keep reaching for a non existant AF selector, only to have to remove the camera from my eye and press the button with my other hand!

Anything's up for grabs on this forum, mate,it's random-now how about this one; Do the panel think that sexual orientation is set at birth genetically, influenced by the environment, peer pressure etc,or a bit of both?By the way,did you know that the guy who played Mr Sulu in Star Trek was gay?Seems everybody is gay on the telly nowadays-if I watch too much of it,will it make me gay?Perhaps the Klingons were repressed homosexuals? So many questions,so many answers...Wink [;)]

There are no doubt degrees of sexuality as in most things from 100% hetrosexual to 100% homosexual through all the degrees in between.  What takes place between consenting adults is their own business  whether straight or gay - there's plenty of other things to worry about - as long as they don't do it in the street and frighten the horses.

Are horses frightened of gay sex? I'm struggling to think of any kind of evlutionary advantage that would give them.

Why do people demand buying a DSLR, then never go beyond using its full-autos?

    A couple more random thoughts...

In the real world, lens test charts are meaningless.
Do you really need a top shutter speed of 1/4000th?

I believe the quote comes from Mrs. Patrick Campbell - actress of the late Victorian/Edwardian period when asked about naughty goings on - she did'nt mind what people did as long as they did'nt do it in the street and frighten the horses.
