    Re: What annoyed you today?

I could get the bus, but it means going up to Southampton, then through Southampton, and down the other side. So it'd take me about 2 and a half hours just to get there on the bus. Sad [:(]

I'll see what happens later. Never know, they might feel generous later.

    Hi Matt.

Your web site says you're 20; don't you have your own car or license?

If not, get your mates to pick you up for such events and offer to buy the beers, or do a photo shoot for them in return.

    Cheers,
    Neil

Alan, I was gutted to see that Tina had made her last post, it seems to be the trend lately.. We should all get together and put an end to the mass eviction that seems to be going on... I have only been coming to DCmag for a short time campared with others on here, But Ive been here long enough to know that you can make and loose freinds very quickly.. Come on guy's, ride out the storm, there is better weather to come...Take care Mark

Re: What annoyed you today? One to Cheer you all up?

Reference moral test for photographers-I would video the unfortunate event,so I could play back the screams of the dying premier again and again, and when I'd had my fill,I would sell the video to Japanese businessmen as a premier [no pun intended]snuff video.I would of course keep a couple of high-quality b+w stills for my own personal amusement. At no time would I consider saving the wretched fellow and putting myself at risk.Big Smile [:D]

You are definitely a glass half-full man Mark.

Let's all sing "There Are Good Times Just Around the Corner"! This new site that we're promised had better be good, it's been sold so hard by those that are assembling it, that anything short of astounding will be seen as a complete flop.

People seem to be hanging on until it appears, to make the decision whether to stay. I like it for the banter more than the photography these days, life's too short to take it seriously, but even a little bit of banter can be taken the wrong way, these administrators have very thin skins you know. I well remember one remarked that it's our choice to come on to the Forum, implying if we don't like it push off, and I think some people took him at his word.

Anyway, roll on September and the promised launch.

P.S. Thanks for the kind comments you have made on my site.........Cheers..Alan.

Banter!  How true this is, Alan.  There seems to be a lot of schoolboy cliqueness emerging on this site too which I find laughable.  However, it is enough to send anyone with a right mind (mine being a bit on the thick side) scurrying off to find other climes.  However, as good as Ephotozine is for instance, they only allow 1 upload a day (not sure about paying members) and the chat isn't as biting, and thus exciting.   DCM are also very generous with their gallery upload space and that holds many back who would otherwise move on.

Your verbal restraint Sue does you great credit and should be an example to all on the forum. Surprise [:O]  I was fully expecting you in some way to blame the Labour party, in particular GB, for having not had the fore-thought to realise that by siting the post in this particular spot it would one day be standing directly in front of you and that Crane(?). Re: What annoyed you today?

    Arghh

Just heard on the radio - a man in Portsmouth has been questioned under the prevention of terrorism act. His crime? He took a picture of a police car which was parked in a bus-stop. The local police authority issued a statement saying this was the correct response...
