there was only the one today, so i treated it to the wide-angle . . .

might try the colour pop again, but the sky is nice and deep, shame to lose it...a cloud woulda been nice though.

Hi

Saw this thread and thought I'd let you have a look at a photo I took recently whilst trying out my new Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8 lens. I'd been out for a couple of hours trying to find a good shot and on my way home as it was getting dark I passed over the M60 motorway in Stockport and saw an opportunity.

I'm really pleased that I managed to get planes, trains and automobiles. The plane trail is just visible above the viaduct, it's much clearer on the full size version.

I took it using a 6" exposure at f/19 and ISO 100. Hope you like it, all comments and suggestions gratefully accepted:

From last week's trip to Wales...

Planes (sorry the Typhoon's a bit soft must practice panning and get a lens with IS). Both low flying through the Tal-Y-Lyn pass (Cad west for the Hawk East for the Typhoon, for those who know the area)

 

and Boats.
