Another from Oregon, USA. Hillsboro, OR, 18 miles west of Portland. It's even more interesting that anyone mentioned Walla Walla, not only the town they liked so well they named it twice, but the valley of the Jolly Green Giant (until he moved) and the place where the best sweet onions in the world are grown (Walla Walla Sweet Onions). :D I went to school there and my folks and sister still live there.

I actually found this forum because I've been trying to track down a source for the book "Lighting for Still Life" by Steve Bavister. It's not available in any of the major books sorces here in the US or Canada and a google search showed his name on this forum. Does he still post on here?

It seems like a pretty good forum and I even buy the magazine at Barnes and Nobels to bood. :D

I have just seen your thread. Thanks for your concern, but I am O.K. I left Colombo on the afternoon of the tsunami, to travel to U.K. And Ireland it didn't cause much of a problem here in the City! Very lucky though, as I'm usually down south between Hickaduwa and Galle, now devastated. Regards
