I have posted this very ordinary picture of Jack as an example of the type of portraiture that is easy to produce and also easy to sell. For more than half my working life I was making a good living from pictures no better than this - I never claimed to be the best portrait photographer in the area - just the one who could take a picture that would sell.
To all aspiring photographers I say - Identify your market - find a style of picture that is easy to repeat and which meets the needs of your customers and just do it.
