Re: What annoyed you today?
sue allen:....not at work today....decided to clean the front windows and was out in the garden when my neighbour came home from work in her van.....she saw me and did'nt block my drive, there's more than enough room not to......she went in ....I went in........I looked out of my window ten mintes later and she'd been out and reversed it right across my drive........I'm starting to get a twitch......there is no *&"£$! reason for them to do it. They did it to the last owner of my house and it ended up at the solicitors......I just can't get my head around people like that...are they just terminally ignorant? I asked so politely not to do it and she said she would'nt...that lasted about 3 days......what do I do?
Get a stinger or put nails down![Stick out tongue [:P]](/emoticons/emotion-4.gif)
If someone in your household is disabled then you can get a box put outside your house, although did you say you don't drive or have a car or something? even so taxis and such could park there if you need to get around, anywho...
See what the result was of the solicitors and if anything is in violation, report it or catch it up and such.

spin498:where are your local Police?
Driving around trying to avoid trouble! The police are the ones who should stop people blocking pavements by parking on them but they just drive on by - no interest at all. This is such a stupid thing to get worked up about, I'm usually live and let live, but I just get the feeling they think they can treat me with contempt and that's whats really annoying me. It was the way she went back out to move her van across my drive after I'd gone inside that really got to me today.

Re: What annoyed you today?
Have you not complained to them? Police aren't mind readers, if you don't tell them there's an issue they'll assume it's by mutual agreement. I have more cars in my family than driveway to park them in so there are all kinds of occasions when a car is parked across my drive. I'd be some ticked if they just came by willy nilly and ticketed me for parking in front of my own house.

Re: What annoyed you today?
Sue, you're getting mad about them and their behaviour. That's how they get their pleasure.
Don't get mad, get even. Wait until the wind is blowing in their direction, their windows are open and doors are open and light a fire with green wood and rubber. As I say, a matchstick breaks in two pieces and they only carry one spare, but I wouldn't recommend that, it's a crime.
Check your house deeds and see if there is a clause in it that says you can't keep a caravan on the driveway or a council bye-law which is the same. If there is any damage to the footpath, take a photo of their van parked on it. If you have a delivery and the van is there, call the police. It's an unnecessary obstruction and should be dealt with by them.
Basically, CHILL!, it's only a bloody van, but even though it's a pain in the backside, you could become their piles.

Re: What annoyed you today?
sue allen:Hmmm - so with blood pressure already rising, i take a look at the Daily Mail website. Several photos of the new Lord Mandelson beaming away as well he might.....£1 million golden handshake from Europe..£234,000 'transitional' payment...annual top up of £78,000 to bring his £104,000 cabinet ministers salary up to what he got in europe.....oh, and an EU pension worth £31,000 a year.........how will he manage??? They certainly feel our pain don't they???!!
That doesn't include his pension from being an MP before going to Europe. ![Angry [:@]](/emoticons/emotion-12.gif)

Once a Bildeberg man, always a Bildeberg man. Mandy will never be far away from where there is money.
Conspiracy theories apart, he's as bent as a nine bob note.
