    I love the jelly shot, it's amazing the sort of shots you can get from the simplest of items! I did a macro of the froth on my cappuccino once, made for an interesting abstract.
    I like the expression on the face of that guy on the bike!!
    Here's a pic from me, don't look if you don't like spiders!! These garden spiders were trying to get the attention of a female.     Hope you like it.

    The spider photo is very cool, and i love the flower.

    Heres my pic of the day, saw how the clouds lined up with the setting sun, so got about 20 pics with my D50. (This is totally unedited)

    oooph ladyc those spider pics are gruesome... great tho.. if i come across one of those nasties here in MRU i'll take a snap, that's if i don't jump a mile first lol Big Smile [:D]

    wow ! that must have been some rain !! Nice photo mmmikey.

    ladycompact: How did you shoot these spiders (lens)?
    This is a great macro shot (or these were really BIG spiders :-D  )

    Thanx Kacos - All mine are shot with a compact, an Olympus Camedia C-500 Zoom, which has a 2cm macro. Mind you, as I'm not a spider lover even these small garden spiders seem big to me, I'm surprised I get any of them in focus!!

    This is why I asked - they are unbelievably sharp, and the depth of field is excellent for macro shots.
    I wonder what short of lens will give similar performance on a 350d (definately not my 150mm macro) ..
