I knew my entry had whiter than white appeal, but I soon realised anyone with a critical eye would see all of its defects and dismiss it. I forgot to turn the glass, and you can still see some of the gold writing. Look closer still, and you can see my fingerprints all over the frosty glass!
I though I would come third, with the real battle being between rob@dcmag and Cedar. rob@dcmag's entry was a nicely balanced classic, and I cannot understand for the life of me why 'Dawn of the Choc-Ice' would get more votes. Cedar's entry had a very contemporary feel to it, and I suspected it would have the edge with the modern-type digital enthusiasts.
I don't know, maybe I got the sympathy vote for being the new guy. And now I have to come up with a theme for this weekend's competion...
