yep i tend to agree filter, i forgot to check the iso before shooting, that pic is 1000 iso,Surprise [:O], i prefer your B&W but i think the blown out highlights detract a little,  is that a wing mirror ? you could get some great shots in asda car park , all those cars with wing mirrors ,lol. cheers martyn

Re: Chat for the weekend 7th-8th April 2007

Some great pics so far folks ... my thoughts are my local bridge but i need to get down there just after i finished work at 7 and today that just wasn't going to happen, i had to go out and meet some of my team after i sent them out on a shout to John O'Groats to pick a pup up and take pictures of its injuries and then tube feed it fluids. Oh well, hopefully i will get there tomorrow.
if you're interested this is the pup and i'm the caithness area coordinator for the BDMLR
sorry for going off topic slightly

pete thats a great idea, my only thought is that you can see the lamp in both pics, would it be possible to set that up in your garden ? maybe from a hosepipe or something ? would look great.

Guy its well balanced, not sure if its poss to crop the sky out ? cheers martyn ps judging by your avatars shouldnt you two be in bed by now Big Smile [:D]

I agree the sky is unfortunately lacking a bit of detail in an otherwise lovely capture.
