your hols weren't in Northumberland by any chance. There's a shop in Belford with those figures made of nuts & bolts and one of those full size Predators.

Anybody know of a decent image retrieval company (tried ALL the free downloads don't work) tried a local "Photo" lab they would have charged £30.00 if they had managed to get anything from it they reckon it's knackered, sorry completely gone off topic.

i think thats about a standard price, i sent a formatted XD off a while ago to jessops.. got them all back.

if the free ones dont work and dont wanna pay then format the card using the PC.. then try the free ones IF YOUR FEELING BRAVE.. ill have a look to see what the ones i use are called

Try formatting the card in camera, as someone else suggested, then use Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery from the web. It's free. All the formatting will do is delete the boot sector file and not the pictures. If this doesn't work then it will be a image recovery company, which may cost over £200.

Hi Cathus, no hols were in Devon we went to Lynton/Lynmouth for the day (recommend it to everyone, do the Gorge walk it's about £4.00 each well worth it though, great waterfall photography but guess what's stuck on the card yup all the shots from the one decent day)

Ok have tried formatting card in camera, will now try Zero Assumption Recovery and see where we go from there, not holding any hope though as camera has erased images...SORRY gone Off Topic again will post back with ZAR results if there are any....
