Hi Jonathan,
1) Sounds about right to me (based on my limited experience so far)!
2) This was the bit I was concerned about mostly, don't think I did a great job of clarifying that in my first posting though. I should maybe ask short, specific questions, although I try and include as much info as possible to save getting asked later.
3) I did consider dropping the quality to less than they stated to bring the file size down but was concerned that, as in point 2, just because I couldn't tell the difference they might.
4) I remebered this, hence my using save for web on this occassion. I seem to have got away with it...
5) In the first instance they wanted to print my pictures so they did, just not at the size they wanted. Tough now. In the second case (and future cases) I shall be sticking to the letter of their law as I am competing against other photographers. "Pick me, pick me!"
I think the formula I have for now is ok, and hope that if they do indeed pick me I can meet their requirements for the large/original file.
Cheers,
Martin.
