I had a "Road to Damascus" revelation yesterday, well I wasn't actually on my way to Damascus, just the garden centre, when I suddenly realised why I get grumpy. I was listening to Lord "Squeaky Clean"Levy promoting his book and the Cash for Peerages and his part in the enquiry was being discussed.
Now we all have view as to whether peerages were bought or not, and the fact that people who made loans to the Labour party ended up in the upper chamber was really just a coincidence, the fickle finger of fate
We all know that there are some dubious practises undertaken by all those that govern us, and whilst we complain about it, we all know in our heart of hearts that there's sod all we can do. I realised that that is not what makes me grumpy. It's the fact that all these greasy pole climbers think that Joe Public is so gullible that we swallow their pathetic reasoning as to why we should accept that nothing is rotten in the upper echelons of power.
That's what makes me grumpy. ![Super Angry [8o|]](/emoticons/emotion-39.gif)
