erm lord v... how??? thats.. close!

Taken using an MPE-65 macro lens (goes upto 5:1 magnification)- all the pics are also focus stacked to increase the DOF.

i love taking macro shots. but ive got nothing near that close. i need a macro lens.

One of mine from earlier (just before there was an almighty crack of thunder):

Looks like a fly but it was skating on the top of the water, its actually eating the corpse of a drowned moth here nature eh...

...and a dandelion.

Stevey - Thanks for comments. Some flies can walk on water due to surface tension and their feet not breaking the surface.

Sorry, but I think pond skaters have large pads on their feet, so if the surface tension is broken, they can still stay on top.
