I don't think there is a "the best". Flickr's improving, then there's "Photobucket" (http://photobucket.com/), to name two.

Managed that but lurkalot -if you are listening please

    1. can I make that picture bigger in the forum and still be clickable (pasted thumbnail from my gallery) and
    2. I have tried and failed to put a picture in as a banneer signature - thought it was too big as initially just got a red X - made it smaller as per your recommendations (460x ?) and it has disappeared altogether any ideas?

    Thanks

    J,

Yes sure.  All you need to do is paste the intermediate sized pic.   As long as it's clickable in your gallery, it will be clickable in here too.

Where's the pic you want to use in your signature?

Hi Lurkalot, can you help, trying to insert photo's into message box.  I've got my pics in Picasa Web Albums.   I've uploaded and I can see them, but I'm being told that everyone else just see a Red Cross, if I log out of DCM and back in the image has also gone when I view DCM.  Any idea's please?

No problem, just make sure the pics are set as published in your gallery, then all should be fine when your not logged in to site. Wink [;)]

I had both sites open at the same time, ie Picasa and DCM, I'll take a look.  I'd just sent you a private note about the smae issue, so please ignore it.  Thanks

Re: How to add a photo to a forum post.

Thanks for all this sensational info monsieur Lurkalot!  One question, if I may: Can you tell me please, how I place a pic in a posting so that when it is clicked on, the image goes to the right size, ie full screen.  At the moment, whenever I copy and paste a pic I have to use the two sliders to move the pic around inside the box to see all aspects of it (L to R, U & D etc)  - I don't get the pointing finger option of click and enlarge. Chers - kevin

Re: How to add a photo to a forum post.

    Hi Lurkalot

I have been trying to upload a photo but am battling a bit.

I go into into my gallery, select the photo, left click, press copy and then backtrack to the forum and go to the message box and left click, but then my paste button is not highlighted - so i cant trf the pic.

    What am i doing wrong?

    Tks Jo

PS:  Dont know what we would do without your expert advice!!!Embarrassed [:$]

Re: How to add a photo to a forum post.

Giving this thread a well deserved bump. I tried all morning to post some photos, and tried just about everything I know, to no avail. Had to resort to the laptop, Vista and IE8. The Mac, Firefox and Safari just wouldn't co-operate! And being directed here for the instructions helped! :-)
