Great shot OB but where did you manage to find sunshine?  It's been like the middle of November here all day today Sad [:(] hurrumph!

Thanks moonlustie. Do you mean like this?

Had to wait until about 15:00 hours before we had sunshine. Before then we had about two inches of rain. Big Smile [:D]

Some crackers here as usual. This one's from Saturday but it's near enough.

This one's from today: A potential weekend comp entry I thought was interesting.

Thanks OB. Love the atmosphere in your two sunrise shots, really beautiful colours.

I thought a touch of Brum might do down well! I know it's only a little station but I like Moor Street. It's like a little piece of a bygone age dropped in the middle of the city.

As it happens, I was under the sink when I took the tap shot - remote shutter cable to the rescue! I couldn't get the camera out of the reflection though, so I had to snick it out in pp.

Not shaw how you did the tap without getting the reflection of the camera in it. But it's fantastic

    Here's mine from yesterday

Thanks Adrian. Great texture and detail in your elephants. Looks like they were having a great time, too!

The camera was in the tap photo but due to the distortion it was only small, so I cloned it and the tripod out in Photoshop. Nearly left it in as it is an essential machine after all!

    Re: Photo of the Day

If that is a first attempt at a mono then it is pretty good, there is a great deal of texture and tone in the shot. I like the composition as well just be aware of large areas of one tone in the shot, the leaves in the top right break up the sky well.

    Nice work

    Good shot Martin!

I took this last night.  I have loan of a friends Canon EOS300D and was trying it out.   Got some good shots ... I particularly like this one:

    Re: Photo of the Day

I haven't posted much here for a while as I haven't been snapping much other than family and friends. This was taken in Knole Park Sevenoaks yesterday. It's quite tricky to sneak up to deer with a chatty 5 year old at your heel, this was the best I got.

I've found the best way to keep five year old happy while you're trying to take a photo is get them in it....(usually hidden behind a rock) or chocolate biscuits help! lol

In this one they are just laughing at me, I was on my knees in a puddle.
