i have to say, and i hope this doesnt offend anybody, but i find almost this entire thread so utterly boring i dont usually bother looking but i had nothing better to do and most of the threads are being almost spammed lately , but this image really caught my eye, its exactly what i would call proper streetlife.. its a good candid shot of someone in the street totally unaware of the photographer..

i love the grain/noise the tones are great and really suit the subject.. 5 stars!

You gotta laught at this - what a nerve! There are some cracking photos in this thread ... hardly a description I would  apply to that picture.

everyone has a preference, mine are flowers and children/portraits, i didnt mean there arent some wonderful shots on this thread, i'm sure there are.. but for me they are not my cup of tea, the image i commented on however jumped out at me, i have seen this style used before but i cant for the life of me think where but for me its a really great shot as i said...

Ok, not the best example, but the juxtaposition will make Aber's look even better.

This was taken of two local reporters from some local papers covering a bouncy castle festival. One was kitted out with an EOS something or other, and the other with a D200.
So, here's one of how the public see us.

Bit of fun, walking past a florist and noticed the sign. It's called The Buttonhole, but a couple of letters had fallen off. Gives a whole new aroma the the shop!
