Re: B & W in recognition of this month's DCMag

In a slightly better mood now. Not that anyone knew that I wasnt in a good mood.

I just went to take a couple pics of my guitar, and when I went to upload the pics, I found aload of pics I took a couple weeks ago, and they didnt turn out half bad.

So, as is a highly unoriginal thing to do, I thought Id try the single colour desaturation thing (whatever its called) and here were my results.

Some really nice work here and some good examples of using a touch of colour in mono.

This is a particular favourite of mine... but it is a montage of digital and film.

Re: B & W in recognition of this month's DCMag

A shot taken in Paris some years ago on the anniversary of V.E. Day, a day that the French mark each year. You will find these memorials dotted around the city on the spot where partisans fell whilst diverting the Germans as the allied forces advanced on the city. With just a simple plaque and a bunch of flowers to a brave young man, I found the experience quite moving.

Visited an area near to where I grew up, turned it to B&W cos I thought it was more remeniscent of the era. Some excellent shots on here by the way.
