Cracking shots of the Swallows lisa82. Did you use flash on the last one? If there are babies in the nest and you fire a flash, they stretch up with their mouths open. See below.

Oldboy’s Gallery

One from a while back taken with my old compact in Corris, North Wales. This chap was sat on the ledge when I first came across him but as tends to be the way moved away about 1/2 second before I tried to take the shot. Seem to remember I had to potter about nearby in order to catch him unawares.

Thanks, i did use the on-board flash but they didnt seem bothered, just sat there looking! Went in today but they wasnt sat as nice, was hoping mum and dad would feed them while there but they just kept flying in and out and i didnt have that long for them to get used to me being there.
