I just realised that the clocks turn fowards tonight. Whats the point in that?

GRRR! thats annoying...maybe need more RAM.

I get 100Mb with my website hosts.

I was using 60Mb.

then uploaded 3 mp3 files totalling 14 Mb.

Instead of jumping to 74 used-space...its jumped to 99Mb and the hosts are offering me an extra 200Mb for two pounds a month? missing the point entirely.

Grrr, cranky.

I deleted the jukebox and all the mp3s and its still sat at 99Mb used space. pah. and I was so hoping to regale you all with some classic shelf sounds. pah.

I no yeah, such a pain.

i usually get the message Low disk space while on photoshop! have to save stuff now to a portable hardrive do-hicky thing.

IMPORTANT - EVERYBODY READ THIS

Seeing the admin proposal posted at  10.35 this morning which outlines an intention to start charging for posts and bringing in paid advertsising. I think this will ruin this community forum and it will certainly mean I leave it. I have emailed admin stating my objections - you can not reply to the thrtea for some reason (no doubt they do not want us all to see replies which I expect will be against the proposal).

I have objected to their proposals and stated that I will also cancel my DCMag subscription if this change takes place. I urge all other forum users to make their views known. I may start a new thread to highlight this issue further.

My own gripe now... I've been off work for the past 10 days with a broken toe - it was the dog's fault but that's another story! Anyway, for the past few days it's felt strong enough to walk on without causing any major discomfort (and I have a low tolerance for pain despite being married for 16 years ).

I went to see my lovely doc this morning after having a pleasant natter on the phone with my boss to tell him I'd definitely be back on Monday only to be told by my GP that there's no way in Hell I'm going back to a job that involves walking 3-5 miles a day for at least the next fortnight!

My boss says he'd love to have me back (for obvious reasons) but won't go against the GP's advice (and the sick-note she issued that I was gonna throw in the bin). So I told my boss that since I want to come back to work but can't, I'm going to make the most of the next couple of weeks and get out with the camera. He even turned around and told me he'd do the same thing given the circumstances! Bless him!

So now my 40D and the two, fast f2.8 Sigma lenses I bought last week are going to get some serious pounding.

Not being able to get my hands on my 70-300mm lens until I return from a day out tomorrow, stupid postman had to turn up when I was out!!

Know how you feel! The last couple of deliveries form Royal mail I was in waiting for them to call. No bell sounded but later I found a card saying he had called, and after failing to get a answer, returned the item to the main office from where I could collect it.
