    Indifferent [:|] Half price Photoshop

    Get it quick Wink [;)]

    Some comments:
    1. Yep CS4 is in beta already (I think it will come out in September) so this will soon be the "old" version
    2. It's CHEAPER to buy the full version than upgrade from Elements
    3. If you don't have Photoshop and want CS4 then it will PROBABLY be cheaper to buy CS3 now and upgrade than buy CS4 when it comes out - but who knows?
    4. Shipping boxed product is slightly cheaper than download - which suggests they are clearing the shelves
    5. I have no idea when this promotion ends
Check out my Soup - pretty cool for one of the best
    wedding photographers in the UK.

    Re: Half price Photoshop

I am tempted in a strange way. Cause my versions"free", and if I ever want to go past being a casual snapper I'm going to need a fully licensed version Big Smile [:D]

So it would really just be to help my guilt.

Yep, a pretty sound guess Jonathan as Lightrom v2 should be released in late August give or take a bit. As both apps use the same ACR it makes sense to release both at near enough the same time.

    Hmmm interesting pricing.

For once the UK seems ahead of the game: £284.94 or 359.54
For the NL version: € 1,069.81 from the NL site.

That's one hell of an exchange rate they offer! If I were any of you, I'd look into converting your GBP into EUR via adobe's shop!

I cant see any point, as its still £284.57, then youve got the charge which the bank will give for a currency transfer!

    Alan Ingham:

Possibly Alan , but I do already have CS2 which was a upgrade from PS6 and I think the upgrade path only allows so many from the original so as I am retiring next year I thought why not at that price for the full version while I can still afford it. Wink [;)]

I really do prefere my own Dam program to Lightroom (just my preference so no need to go into it)so this seemed the obvious choice and will see me through for quite a few years.Big Smile [:D]
