    What's just had me laughing...?

"US man charged for shooting mower"

It's the lunacy of the scenario... machine won't start, so shoot it. And what's more, he'll have problems in getting it repaired!?

Where there is a will there's a way...........

WMMFG - Managing to shoot the rugby game using the monopod and a golf umbrella as crutches. Obviously I didnt move up and down the pitch as usual but cause I am allowed inside the ropes with the coaches i stood each half at different ends and got some terrific shots. Mind you I did pay for it spending the afternoon and evening on the couch icing a very swollen knee.........with some good anesthetic of a very good cab merlot. Big Smile [:D]

What's making me laugh? Good old Terry Wogan, and "Janet and John" stories in my headphones. The CD's being checked for the journey down south on Sunday. Big Smile [:D]

Oh those stories are fantastic - unfortunately I don't drive to work any more and I miss have a good laugh in the morning!

A young lady (20 something) sat next to me on the bus the other day and we talked the whole trip away and had similar interests and opinions. When we were arriving at the transit center, she gave me her email address and phone number, saying she really liked talking to me and wanted to keep in touch. It made this old man (50) feel really good.

This reminds me of a visit to a local DIY store. Customer ahead of me banged a Drill down on the counter and said " That's ***k*d"
The salesman took a sheet of A4 paper and wrote in block capitals "FAILURE DUT TO EXCESSIVE SEXUAL ACTIVITY" - he looked up at the customer and said " I'll send it in but I don't think they'll believe me"

I bet he's used that one before....

Congratulation to you both - I wish you a very happy future together.
