It cost me £70 to buy 55 litres of diesel - that is what annoyed me!
Me the other half were talking last night about how "they" (the government) want us to use public transport more and get our cars off the roads - fine yes I'll use public transport when it won't take me 2 hours to go 13 miles. To get to where I work I have to get a tram into Nottingham train station, then a train out to Long Eaton and then a 1.5 mile walk. Don't the government also try to instill in us to spend more time with the family (ok I don't have kids but we do have a dog and it's not fair on him to leave him home all alone all day!) So anyway - with 8 hours at work, plus 4 hours of travelling everyday, plus the time it takes in the morning to get ready for work and have breakfast, plus the time in the gym (cause "they" want us to be healthy too!) and sleeping time - that would leave me 2 hours every evening of "free" time - and of course I have to have dinner too!
Sorry rant over - just feeling a little "what's the point in anything" today! It's alright I'll go home and have a glass of wine and I'll be fine again!
