    Mike Dinsdale:

    Thanks Guys!

I'm reaquainting myself with the sofa somewhat at the mo, just chilling.Wink [;)]

Kids haven't quite got a handle on why I'm not rushing about like I used to, bless 'em.

Doc says relax and take it easy. Signed me off work for 2 more weeks. Cool [H]

Got electric shock treatment in 6 weeks Lightning [li] so ain't looking forward to that, and a lifelong attachment to drugs to boot.

I'll get there in the end.

    Mike

Some say you only realise how important life is when you nearly lose it. Hope you recover completely and can get back to work without any worries in time.

Now then, I'm off down town to try the one thing in the mag that looked interesting (I got an issue to read on the plane! Still the same old rubbish, though proffessional photographer was quite an interesting read!) and thats the 28 days later thing, and sunrise should be soon! Why? I cant sleep, I've got a stomach ache, ear ache, and that thing where your completely aware of your heart beat (Which gets really annoying after a while) so rather then wasting the next few hours rolling around in bed I may aswell get the good light!

Blimey, Mike. Glad to hear you're O.K. How come that's only worth a fortnight off work?

Thats bad that is only 2 weeks off work. I've just had an accident in work ( nothing too serious ) fell and cracked my head and elbow ( was lucky I had my fleece on and that took some of the beating, otherwise I would have shattered my elbowTongue Tied [:S]) and the Dr had given me a week off with the possiblity of being longer. I'd go back in 2 weeks mike and ask for longer.

    Hi Paul

Been off this week, off for 2 more weeks, but I'm reviewing with doc on the Friday b4 to decide if I'm ready to go back.

I actually like my job a lot, but I like being alive more, so won't be pushed into going back too early.

Just starting to realise what's happened to be honest!

    Mike

Hi Mike, so sorry to hear about your attack.  Please just do as the doc says and chill while you can - I appreciate you're keen to go back to work but it may not help your situation in the long term.  Take the opportunity to do more with your camera Smile [:)]

    Wishing you a speedy recovery.
