    Going into the park next door this lunchtime and seeing that the marquees and tents for the 'Mela' or community  event on Sunday are being put up at the far end from where I live. A bit rough on the people whose windows are about 6ft from the brook which divides them from the back of the marquees -  we're promised Pink Floyd and punk tribute bands......hope they're at the far end too......wish I was going out this weekend!

    Its a sunday, though the weather is dreary I have the rest of the afternoon/evening off, cause we close at 4 so get out a short time after.

     

    Parents and brothers are on holiday. so i'm home alone, in a detatched house. So I can properly run through those new cds Ive got on my stereo. (Before my girlfriend or oldest brother phone up inviting me over for food)

    The weather the last two days have been how you expect summer to be: sunny, warm...not a threat of rain.

    Managed to get the rotted wood on the shed replaced, the roof reshingled, and the whole thing painted.

    Right now I'm knackered, but knowing at least I've achieved something this weekend.

    Yes - lovely summer weather here too today...just right for a trip up the river!

    Summer on the river by you.

    Yesterday was fine and sunny as they prepared for the community festival in the park next door. today we we've gone from heavy showers during daylight to torrential rain as it got dark - I can still hear the thump of music - must be wonderful for those in the flats right next door. It will be interesting to see what sort of state the park will be in in the morning - must take a few snapsGeeked [8-|]

    Enjoyed a wet but pleasent morning in the grounds of Powys castle in the company of Matrin Hurton and Stephanie followed by a Cann Office Sunday Lunch - It was nice to meet a face from the forum at last.
    The deer were not very co-operative but a pheasant made up for that....
    Thank you both for coming.
