    Re: Photo of the Day

    Hey Kacos,

I know someone who has a  turquoise bathroom & tried to simulate your picture in a studio (?) enviroment.

I put some water in their bath & thrashed it about a bit to make some waves.

Just to let you know.... It didn`t work.

It just made me even more jealous!

    Cheers

    zeezee

    Hi everybody,

Flea: i like the shot of the model, u caught the moment perfectly.
    Bordefox, a lovely animal portrait.
Mmmikey, more great shots, beginning to wish i lived in mauritius :)
Harry, that wasp shot is incredible, what did u use to get it?
Kacos great shot, & well done on getting reader photo of the day :D
Ladycompact, that seed-head is beautiful, well done.

Here's my shot of the day, got bored while it was raining so got someone to dress up for me, took a picture, made a B+W copy, then put them in seperate layers with Ability Photopaint, Before erasing the lens part of the sunglasses on the B+W layer to allow the colour to show through (this is my first attempt at this effect).

    Hope u all like it,

    Rob.

Ladycompact, your macro shots (including the one above) are excellent!
Rob, stunning photo! I would prefer a little lower crop (less forehead, more nose), but still it is excellent.

    Re: Photo of the Day

Ladycompact, that dandelion is one super pic and so different from the norm.

Rob very interesting idea and very well executed, but same as the previous commenter, I would love to see a little more of the nose.

As for the equipment used for the wasp shot, Canon 10D + Canon 100mm + Canon twin light macro flash.
