Just playing!  The reason he has a spike out the top of his head is because he's a candle!

moonlustie - no blurred image with that shot but composition could be improved, as the background lighting is overpowering the subject. Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Photo of the Day

Thanks - yes it was odd how much the background affected the light level.  I started with two bits of A4 paper laid landscape but thought the 'horizon' would be too distracting, so I used one sheet turned portrait to eliminate it.  I didn't change the lighting between shots but the second seemed much darker.  Would it have been better to increase the lighting or is it just an adjustment in photoshop?

I'm also surprised at how sizing photos is making a difference - the original candle seemed much darker in a smaller size.  I also put some pictures I taken of my musician friends on my flickr account and pictures I thought weren't that good suddenly seemed OK after all.

Bullseye This is an image I recently re-edited in Photoscape using the region tab, which allows you to combine colour and mono. You can get your images easily onto a post by right clicking your image in your gallery, clicking 'copy',returning to the post page and right clicking again and selecting 'paste'-this should drop the image onto the page.[This shot taken with Vivicam 5385-very cheap.]
