    Hi Oldboy.

    They're swifts in your shot.

Saw the first swallows arrive a couple of weeks before them - so summer was earlier - now gone when looking out of the window today ;-)

    Cheers,
    Neil

Thanks for the info, have corrected. Always find it difficult to tell these two apart, as you don't get much chance to view them up close. Big Smile [:D]

    Hi Oldboy.

    [LOL had to re-edit as b r e a s t appears to be a rude word ;-)]

Completely understand - taken me many years of being a keen birdwatcher to identify many subtle birds.

Best\easiest distinction for a swallow; two VERY long and spindly streamers to their tail as well as white b r e a s t. House martin  = white b r e a s t but no streamers to the tail.

    Zzzzzz ;-)

    Cheers,
    Neil

i guess you cant please all the of the people all of the time.. i am really not a fan of b/w anyway ..

on my laptop it looks as though all the colour from the sky has been converted to b/w and the grass is a muted green..

    or corn.. wheat.. whatever lol

so maybe i am just talkin ***..lol

MPelley. For me, the edited one is a more sophisticated and artistic image. Easier on my eye.

    Heres one from yesterday,

    Cheers,

    Helen.
