    treeeeeee

Went to get a  shot of this tree in Windsor Great Park, and stumbled across this little fellow, literally 2 feet away from me , this was the only quick shot i could get of him before he flew off, i don't know who was more surprised, me or him!

Great shot of the Owl pyropara. That's why you should always be ready for the unexpected, the reason why I usually have my 70-200mm F2.8, sometimes with the 2x converter attached, as a walkaround. See resulting shot below. Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Photo of the Day

Amazing that you got that shot with a 70-200 lens, even with the converter. Welldone.

Here is one I grabbed at my nephew's wedding last weekend. My sister and her husband getting romantic after 30 years of marriage!

Hey, I was outside today, as here in norfolk it has been bloodly lovely weather Smile [:)]
i was trying to find "different" objects i could take photo's of.

I know loads of people have probably already taken photo's like this, but i thought it quite good (as im still learning photography.)

so if you got any comments, please do! Big Smile [:D]

    Thanks Oldboy,

Was really lucky to get the pic.

Going to go back today to see if he's still around and get some more of him. It'll be good practice as i still don't know what i'm doing as it's all off the cuff!!!

    good fun though.

    Re: Photo of the Day

Valentinecook - Unusual shot, but not sure if focus is on correct subject, as I think it should be the water rather than the tap, or else use something like F22 to give greater DOF. Big Smile [:D]

pyropara - Good luck but you may have to wait around for hours before he reappears on there. If it a regular spot for him you may be lucky. Big Smile [:D]

awinf - Wouldn't fancy walking up that street. Great shot and well spotted. Big Smile [:D]

bsmith - stunning shot with fantastic detail. And I agree about the knees. It's not the getting down but back up that's the problem. Wink [;)]
