Thanks for the comments on the bridge pic -this was taken after reconstruction at The Black Country Museum. It was originally in Wolverhampton in Broad Street, and as a child it was the darkest, gloomiest, dampest place in town! Very scary when you are only 8! In those days horses still pulled narrow boats (please don't call them barges!
) though the canal and you could see the marks of generations of ropes on the brick work. The BCM is a great photo shooting location if you like Industrial Heritage stuff - I could go on at length about the part that this area played in the building of the country and empire!!![Wink [;)]](/emoticons/emotion-5.gif)
