..Wow love the oxidation shot and well named aswell. i love shots like that. aloowas u to appreciate things like that that nobody would ever even take a second look at at.

Well spotted and captured, Crafty. Some great pictures above. Glad your dilemma was resolved Adam, and love the warm tones in the Ullswater image. I like both yours Gil, but the cyclist is my favourite.

Never my favourite image - flower shots that is  - but this flower capture has something special Eileen  not sure exactly why - but I certainly like it a lot - a real unusual take .

Tazzers - fantastic shot - looks like it has been dipped in silver - and beautifully sharp.

 

This is one form a couple of weeks ago - when the sun was out up this way!!

i agree the border ruins that picture although it is a stunning shot.

i have a question........anybody.....
do u think it defies the defenition of photography if u take a picture of a subject that u have placed. Eg: if u tell a person to sit ina corner in a certain way with a hood mabey and then you takea picture? would u say thats ok?
Obviously not exactly like the exaple but something similar ..if its creative?

for example the ones i have bellow of life.

Welcome to this fine thread John - and those were good images you posted above - but I like the "Snow clouds over Glasgow" in particular - a real quality image and shows some real originality - well done indeed - pity that the snow came to very little to give us good photographic opportunities though.
