Thanks for the couple of comments on my picture.

This was one of many taken yesterday - a first for me doing any portraits.

When I looked at the picture in Lightroom I checked for any clipping and am pretty sure that there wasn't any.  I then made the adjustments to get the look - I've got to be honest but didn't look to see if there were any issues!  Will have to go back to it later tonight and have a llok when I get home.

Joni - I like what you have done with the photo, almost looks like a poster print.

EdwinM - You certainly have a unusual style for your processing, but very effective, bringing out all the details and colours in the photos. They also look very clean, as if you polished the scene before taking the photo.

Gil, strangely it does and puts the shot in context (for me at least ) I like the composition and the asymmetry of the clouds. Well spotted.

This next one will be easy to see - but to understand !?!?! - that might be a little more difficult for some.

Haven't posted for a while - here's one from the weekend.    The bluebells are in a small wood set quite a way back from the road so had to take this with a 55-200 zoom.    Hope you like it - Nick
