    Re: Post your best here...

ow. Just got back from work. 8-8:40 with 30 minutes in the middle and a coffee break (my choice)  A good 7-8 hours of that was spent at -25, and the rest running around trying to catch up...

Anyhow.. For the comment about it being a "summers day" it was bloody freezing, and REALLY windy. Thanks for the comments, will post another from that session when uploaded

edit: Really good high key shot. Though something about the position feels slightly awkward. Dont ask me what though...

    ok..

    Re: Post your best here...

Slightly underexposed background, and then off camera flash to bring out the subject.

The second one from the series (First one in my last post) had some heavier dodging to bring out the background.

    Re: Post your best here...

mj...Thankyou. It was all simple really. My front room with natural day light. I used a white duvet cover for the back wall and white sheet on the floor but I had to do some editing in ps to get rid of the creases in the sheet (should have ironed it first Sad [:(]). I used the dodge tool to really bring up the brightness that I wanted, to get rid of most of the background then I used a filter to get a better 'highkey' effect. Thanks again for the interest. By the way your shots are unbelievable (although not a lover of insects..except at a distance Wink [;)]), I prefer macro shots but will never beable to achieve the standard you and lordv do.
