Here's an entry for the FAQ:

Q) Can I swear in posts and rely on the swear filter to strip them out and turn them into stars?
A) No. The swear filter is not an excuse. It also doesn't work very well. If it doesn't work, and your post is posted containing swearwords, that post will be manually moderated. You won't be given a warning, but 3 manual moderations = week ban. If you can't trust yourself to post without swearing, don't post at all.

JD - not sure whom to ask about this, but I've been contacted by 3 members since last thursday via my email, that they have not been able to get on the site here at all - and wondered if I could, obviously the answer for me is yes, but I'm not sure if others have been having the problems as well - just thought someone from the site should be aware of it - thank you for your time - Bob

One is now getting on, but the other 2 folks are "zdolez" (Zuzana) and "Eileen" ... what do they do about being blocked? I'm sure neither have done nothing wrong on the site... that's a pretty broad block - is it a glitch? Bob

We haven't actively blocked any group of IPs... in fact, there's no functionality in the site to enable us to do so even if we wanted to. Apologies to those who couldn't access the site - I'll ask the relevant department tomorrow what might have been the cause. If the problem's still ongoing for some and they are in contact with you, please ask them to email me at james.devile@futurenet.co.uk and I'll forward the email on.

JD, it's a strange one.  All the members I have talked to and are having problems all their IP addresses start 86.

Maybe it's as Jonathan suggested to me,

"maybe they mirror the site for different areas and one mirror is buggered"

Does anyone know why my inbox title at the top left of the screen doesn't show new messages?

I get an email saying I have a new message but on the forum page, or when I log in I'd expect the "inbox" to say "inbox (1)"?

Messages are in my inbox and highlighted as new.

I don't use PM's much, but recently have received a few and didn't know until logging in to my email.

Got a concern here, why do I have a problem of uploading pictures?  I have a new pc, but that should not prevent me from adding a photo.  HELP
