If your present employer is looking for volunteers then get out now. It is going downhill. I was 64 when my employers were looking for volunteers. They offered me my company pension plus the equivalent state pension until I was 65 So with 40 years in, giving me half of my salary  plus the state pension you couldn`t see my ar*e for dust..  I have been retired now 19 years  and never looked back.

If such an offer was made, I'd have done the same.

Re: What made you feel good today?

Got the results from my first ever entry in a pro photography competition. As far as I can figure out I was joint 2nd (that's a bit of a joke cos you are judged against a standard not other photographers - one person got 2 points more than me and 2 other got equal points...)

This is a snap from a real wedding with real people (you can read the story here - if it had been a planned shoot I'd probably have used some fill on the right to pull Mark away from the b/g - that must have cost me 3 points Big Smile [:D])

Pah - you need a better monitor - looks gorgeous on my 18X12 print Wink [;)]. I might even invest in a 60X40 acrylic for the new studio....

Anyway, dresses aren't nearly as important as you think Big Smile [:D]

Re: What made you feel good today?

Who on earth are Feeder, Dirty Pretty Things and Sandi Thom Keith? Sounds more like a Crufts event than a music gig Big Smile [:D]
