D200 arrived aswell as an urbvan disguise 50.

 

Very impressed with ajpurdy, the camera was only £499, and its in perfect condition!

 

The only visible sign that its been used is the screen protector is knackered (but can be replaced for pennies or removed!) and the hotshoe cap isnt there. apart from that its perfect. Also a bit of a beast next to my D40.  The noise the 50mm 1.8 makes when autofocusing caught me off guard though.

Happy new purchase.  Looking forward to seeing a pic of the UD50 with all the gear in it   Enjoy.

 

Lots of things I'm happy about...

I've just finished (this morning) 3 weeks of 10 hour nights.  Yeah! 

Home tomorrow to see the missus, and get to spend time with my new camera at last!

My Ebay auctions are nearly finished and everything is doing REALLY well (as well as I hoped).

After looking at the lens it appears it may be too heavy for my tripod, so have had to order another tripod, head and tripod-bag to put it in. Also need to find another bag to carry the camera, lens etcetc.

After looking at the lens it appears it may be too heavy for my tripod, so have had to order another tripod, head and tripod-bag to put it in. Also need to find another bag to carry the camera, lens etcetc.

Some sort of power driven golf trolley might be a good idea....
