    WMMFGT?

Well I took the first "test shot" towards one of my projects and I am VERY happy with it (I've entred it for the weekend comp actually).  It's an idea I sketched out a while ago but the arrival of my speedlight, and the weather, worked in my favour.

Anyway, I'm still smiling about the finished result and can't remember the last time that I felt like this about a photo.  It's restored my "faith" in my photography Smile [:)]

It means a lot as it's a totally new direction for me and also Stephanie likes to read teh feedback (she takes it as encouragement also, which helps me get her involved in the next shoot Stick out tongue [:P]).

    WMMFGT?

Busy day, but feel I've achieved something (sadly, not photographic):
    - took the kids swimming and had a wonderful few hours of family fun
    - finished off the door in the garden ( piling posts, fitting door, etc. etc.)
    - assembled trampoline for kids and watched them bouncing away.

Oh, and arranging a new washing machine to be delivered tomorrow and having the old one finally packing in completely today...brilliant timing.

    Nice weekend, all in all.

Finally narrowing down my 10 images for the OU course from a shortlist of about 24, now I have just got to put together the slide show and answer the questions, zip it all together and submit it as a PDF file which will be done this evening when I get home. Finger crossed I'll pass....

Assistant manager left the contact book on a till, well within reach of anyone.

Which has the phone number of every staff member in it.
