Well I haven't so much had a bad day as a bad weekend...
Try this lot on for size:
Saturday morning at half five, some little scrote had an argument with his girlfriend and in a fit of temper threw a rock through the back windscreen of my car. Despite the missus actually seeing him do it (she was woken by the argument) the police still haven't arrested the little git yet. Why not? Because they're understaffed and too busy to deal with it straight away AND because the incident took place within an hour of their shift ending, processing this scumbag would have meant the coppers would have had to work overtime!![Angry [:@]](/emoticons/emotion-12.gif)
If you want to commit a crime, come to North Wales - it's dead easy unless you're driving a car - then you'll get tailed for two miles by three police cars and the force helicopter! ![Super Angry [8o|]](/emoticons/emotion-39.gif)
Then on Saturday afternoon, Max and Natty were in the hospital seeing Max's gran who's 87 and on her last legs. While they're out, my 14 yr old Border Collie cross had some kind of seizure, cried out, collapsed and died on the spot. I couldn't even get him to the vets because of the damage to the car and none of the taxi firms I spoke to were willing to have a potentially dead dog in their cars. When I finally managed to get him to the vets, they told me there was a slim chance they could have saved him if I'd got him there sooner - even though they did admit it was unlikely.
Then I had to wait for the girls to get back from the hospital to tell them that the dog we've had since he was six weeks old - and we've had since Natty was six months old was dead. As you can imagine, Natty was pretty distraught.
They say that trouble comes in threes, well it did...
At 1:30 on Sunday morning we got a phonecall to say that Max's gran had passed away - hours after they'd been in to see her!
So now I have no car - the rear windscreen is gonna cost £375 to sort out (because I didn't have glass cover on my insurance). I can't get to work so I'm having to use up some of my annual leave. I can't even use a company van because of the risk that'll get it'll trashed outside this house by the local scrotes. And on top of all that, there's a funeral to get organised and the family to take care of.
And to top it all off, I couldn't even divert my attention to something enjoyable 'cos the damned forum was offline!
What a bloody weekend.
