All the Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge adverts on TV at the moment. The lazy so and so's haven't even made an advert for the UK market so we have to listen to a condescending American telling us how big the engine is!

..... and whats with the bit about it having ABS Brakes.... its the law {all cars built in or for the EU market must be fitted with ABS} like having seat belts, indicators and stop lamps... so why not mention them? Gas guzzler I am glad they have to pay £400 in road tax.

I drove a Chrysler Voyager once, they handle like pregnant whales! Chrysler pulled out of the Uk market in the '80s because they were rubbish, nothing has changed!

well tomorrow i am visiting a potential client so i thought i had better check i have all my paperwork, model release,price lists etc,.. printer out of ink.. replaced ink.. printer says one of the inks isnt genuine.. it was.. take it out fiddle a bit.. huge grinding noise.. printer has general error.. spent three hours on internet trying to find fixes involving hold this button and that button.. no its kerput.. not a prob, sister has identical printer which she kindly brings over.. in the car however her 3yr old decides to pull out the long shiny things.. result.. second printer kerput.. ex husband brings me over a hp printer.. ink ran out.. so not a great day!

Maybe 'annoyed' is the wrong expression, maybe depression would be more appropriate??  .......but looking at our peoples portfolios makes me realise what a crap photographer I am and how much I'm kidding myself that I can handle my camera!!!!!!  So much so that I've withdrawn everything from the DCMAG website...... next job, to put my camera on eBay!!!!

Maybe 'annoyed' is the wrong expression, maybe depression would be more appropriate??  .......but looking at our peoples portfolios makes me realise what a crap photographer I am and how much I'm kidding myself that I can handle my camera!!!!!!  So much so that I've withdrawn everything from the DCMAG website...... next job, to put my camera on eBay!!!! 

Don't give up, as we are all crap at times, but we keep trying to get better. Remember, most of us use a camera for fun, and to get out and about. If you keep trying, then in a short time you WILL see an improvement.

On a par with the Leyland Mini ad from the 70s with Spike Milligan - not sure what idiot thought "four wheel brakes" was an innovation over any other car on the market....

I totaly agree. Don't give up. I've been giving up at anything i can't do all my life. I used to draw loads and wasn't that bad. but i had a bad few months/year and desided to give it up because i hated that i wasn't as good as all the other stuff i saw. Now, however, i really want to get back into it and because i gave up and didn't do it for a couple of years (well not properly) i am nowhere near as good as i used to be and it's somthing i truely truely regret. I'm a crap photographer but thats ok because i enjoy it. i don't show people my stuff because i'm not ready to but thats not the point. The point of doing it is because you enjoy it.

Don't give it up or you will regret it. keep at it and you'll sooner or later sudenly click and you'll do great. We all have to learn. Some learn quicker than others. (trust me i know about being a slow learner )

Here's a snap from a private car at a recent wedding...



Making conversation with the driver (Steve) I learned that when 4 wheel braking came out there was a LAW that said you had to have a plate like this on the back of your car. This was a warning because cars with 4 wheel brakes can stop a lot quicker than cars with 2 wheel brakes. Useful to know if you're following them......

Apart from that nothing. Had a great day playing with Bentleys at a stately home and getting paid for it Ooo the fun of getting people to position 3 tonne/7 litre cars to within inches of where I needed them, then chilling in the sun "waiting for the light". Great way to spend a day.

what annoyed me today was buying things that don't work properly....

what annoyed me today was recieving a vat and import bill from customs for £101 for buying a pentax k10 from the U.S.A. this driving the total price to £520....... £20 more than if i bought it in the high street. Grrrrrrr!!!!!!

My boiler breaking down, still at least it's covered by british gas so lets see how long it takes them to come out to it this time
