What the hell Craig, it's only a few hours out of a fortnight.  I wouldn't have let it ruin my holiday - IF I had one. 

Anybody know how long it takes to get your money back from ATOL?

I should have bloody well stayed in Oz!!

(Oh well, it's only a couple of weeks out of your life! - and a fraction of what I paid to the IRC last year!)

The airports in crete ~(if you can call them that) are the worst.

 

Barely any security, the "waiting area" or whatever is a pretty small room with no air conditioning, barely any seating and with what must have been twice its capacity of people in it.

 

But It was if its a good holiday then you over look it.

 

Anyhow, what annoyed me today? I seem to have buggered up my right index finger, so I cant put pressure on it without alot of pain! so i cant write properly, type properly and it makes in harder to use my camera! It doesnt look damaged though, the skins just gone really tough!

What annoyed me today?

Apart from the four miles of standing traffic 'cos some caused a three car pile-up in the early hours of the morning which has meant that an entire morning's worth of motorway traffic has come through my little town!

I noticed too that a certain pompous, arrogant, racist little oik has made a return to this forum... just when I thought this place couldn't go any further downhill!

What annoyed me today?

Ha, trying to queue up last year in Iraklion airport was hilarious. And when I say hilarious, I mean horrible. In Britain, we're used to queuing peacefully. The old Cretan couples were just walking up to a gap in the 100+ family long queue and pushing their trolley in, then pretending not to understand when people shouted at them. One woman repeatedly tried to get in in front of us, so we called a security guard, who just shrugged. She walked a bit further towards the front of the queue and pushed in there instead.

Of course, this is all if you've managed to survive the Cretan road system and actually got to the airport! :)

 had my AS Chemistry Practical exam...

I had to get a result near my teachers... I got 24.4

 

the teacher apparently got 25.05

oh well... better make up for it by revising hard for the exam!!!

The apparently unstoppable tide of morbid obesity that is gripping the western world like a giant [fat] octopus,if I see one more pie monster,any more sweating mounds of blubber who need a periscope to find their bits and pieces I will be sorely tempted  to commit faticide.I blame a lot of this on sitting on computers for hours on end surfing the net,instead of getting  OUT THERE and actually doing something-apart from going to get something to eat!

lost my damn technology revision book and my memory stick.

the memory stick i used this morning and have only been in one room and its not in my pockets.

told the teacher its in her room somewhere. all i got was if i find it i'll give it you, not ohhh okay i will interigate the kids that where sitting there after

Who's book? Who's Memory stick? Who's RESPONSIBILTY???

What annoyed me today? The 'yoof' of today who can't be bothered to accept responsibility for their own actions and think the world will clear up after them and owes them a living!!

Next time you might take a bit more care over your own stuff.

Mmmm  -  so people  on low wages [or around 2 thirds of them it seems] will get all or part of the money back.......people on over £15,000 a year will get an extra £120.....so the lowest paid are mainly back to what they were on pre budget, and the higher paid get another £120 on top of the extra got in the frst place. Still looking after the poorest then Brown??

It was like 3 minutes from me leaving the room and realising, in the mean time another class had walked it.
