I'm not too sure what I'm doing here. All I want to say is what a great idea to promote B+W. Whoever gets this let me know how to post some pics into a forum please.

Abers, as I understand it, your photo's must first be in some online gallery. I post mine here at DCMag. Then all you need do is copy and paste into your message. A word of warning, if you use Firefox is won't work for some reason. As much as I hate IE, I use it for my copy and past work.

    Tazzers:
Hello. Sorry about that its because they are saved for web and the exif is ommitted to save file size. I shall rectify this for future posts.
If the files are done via"Save for the web", then the images are not "straight from the camera".

Forgive me but this sounds a tad accusatory and I am not sure why, if that was how it was meant. I'm sorry if I have made a mistake with this observation but there appears to be some fixation as to my lack of exif data. By 'straight out of the camera' I mean that very little post editting has been carried out before it was 'saved for the web'. It was opened in photoshop for evaluative purposes, I adjusted for noise, resized and then 'saved for web'. Not strictly 'straight from the camera' which was a figure of speach. Thankyou for the opportunity to clear that one up.

    Regards

    Phil Foster

It was when she said 'put the camera down and come to bed' that I knew I'd finally gone too far.

I love black and white so good to see this thread. Sorry if some of you regulars have seen these before though.

David, the nice thing about getting old, is loosing your memory along with your hair. Even if I've seen the shots before, it's like discovering them all over again. Nice stuff.

David, i have seen them all before, doesn't stop me appreciating them though.

Keith T superb shots great stuff, although for me personally the 2nd one looks a little bit over cooked, i presume that was the effect you were going for.

Adrian, nice tranquil pleasant shot, nice one

Here's an old favourite of mine. An old lady that used to frequent Speakers' Corner. Although fanatically religious she was also very approachable.
