Quite probably that's the answer to the beard dilema. The other possibility is that he had a freak genetic condition that caused him to look clean shaven at all times. Whilst we are discussing Tarzan, why oh why did he name his chimpanzee cheeter? why not chimpanzee, or chimp? quite strange. If he had a pet cheeter would that have been called chimpanzee or chimp?

Perhaps cheetah was/is the native name for a chimpanzee
I think the beard issue was a result of the same anomaly that caused discontinuity in many 60s US TV prog; like the two bods in Time Tunnel - didn't matter what clothes they were wearing when they were cauight up in the time vortex, they would invariably be in roll-neck sweater, jacket and slacks when they fell out the other end again....

Last thought on Tarzan - who was the connection between Tarzan and Starsky and Hutch?

Ah! The good old floppy. When I upgraded to Windows95 had to backup Windows 3.1 onto twenty odd floppy disks and label them all.

Can you even get floppy diskettes these days? I remember there being 5 boxes full of the damn things for my dads Pc, though i had a couple boxes full of amiga games :D
