    Auto shots

Is it worth entering shots that have been taken in auto mode? Will they be taken seriously?

I agree with Matt.  If you have a great shot, you have one, and you took it, so show it off.   Enter the comp and you will certainly make everyone wish they'd taken it if you win.Yes [Y]

Agree with the others. A lot of PRO's use auto for nature shots, where speed counts or you lose the shot. Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Auto shots

The fact that you even have to ask this question is a reflection of the terrible snobbery that exists in photography. Photography is this dimension is basically pure art, and it matters not one iota if you use a Hasselblad or a Casio. A £10,000 lens is not going to take your pictures for you. Use your eye and your imagination to capture your images, and post the shots that you are proud of.
