Harry, you might want to stop off at Papplewick Pumping Station, an old Victorian  steam powered water pumping station. Its not in steam that weekend but its nice to look at from the outside so prob worth a few shots.

How is Nottingham law for using a tripod? I imagine if there are more than 10 people with tripods trying make a picture of the same object it wont be long before some jobsworth is claiming obstruction? I am all for trying it out, but hate to lug a tripod around and not being able to use it.
