OldBoy, isn't it greyed out doing it that way?  it is on mine.

1.This is what I red at the Readers Portfolios in small collapsing Users Guide on the right side:

If you want to give a picture a star rating (the most popular images will appear on our home page) click to open that picture and you'll see five stars in the box on the right, under Statistics. Run your mouse cursor/pointer over the number of stars you want to give the picture, and then click. You can only score an individual picture once.

But I don't see stars under statistics when I open someone's picture . I have enabled ratings in my control panel settings (I guess that's for others can vote for my photos).

2. I don't know how to change my password. All that I can do in "Password and Statistics" is Save changes (but I can't make any changes)

I hope I'm not asking something stupid and hope to get answeres. Thank you.

1:  Rating system has been switched off at the moment because it was being abused.  Hopefully this will return in the future when a new rating system is put in place.

2: To change your password, go to home page and click where it says "Click for profile"  You should then see a link that says Change Password.   If this doesn't work, then we'll have to contact Admin to get it changed for you.

POTD, is chosen by the admin team since the switch off of the rating system, and over the last few weeks has been chosen by JD.  So basically they're hand picked.

Must be your end.  I just uploaded one to your gallery .   Maybe a firewall problem, or add / popup blocker problem perhaps.

Well, the only thing that's changed is my installing Nikon Capture NX. I'd checked my gallery and didn't recognised that picture, until I noticed you had uploaded it. OK will sort tomorrow. Thanks for your help Lurkalot.
