CHAT for weekend competition 10/11 May 2008

The theme for this weekend is 'OPPOSITES'

This could be dark and light, the two halves of shelfy's poor Tom (RIP), up/down etc . . I'm sure you get the idea.  Once again, in order to allow the creative sparks to fly there are no restrictions on the pp work this weekend.

    RULES

    • Photo must be taken on 10th or 11th May 2008 and submitted by 12:00 Monday 12th May 2008
    • photo less than 700 pixels wide if possible to avoid scrolling across.

    Happy snapping and good luck.

Now - where were those chillies and ice packs!Smile [:)] Then again I could get the old clingfilm on our brand new bath taps which I had to replace after my last attempt.

Should be good for a range of entries - look forward to seeing them

Well, thats mine in for this weekend! Got a busy weekend ahead so thought I'd get it in early so spent the wee hours of this morning playing in the garden with my sons Thomas the Tank Engine torch.

I've been wanting to try this for ages, ever since I saw it in DCM a few issues back:

    Good luck everyone.

Steve, well done for being the first up with such a superb shot - eversoverywelldone if I might make so bold.

Glad jinky's not going for *rs* and elbow - I admit I was a bit worried there for a moment . .

well afetr the last escapade with his rear on show, and the stick he got from work i'm not sure he will be rushing to get it out again (in this context anyway!)

i am hoping something crops up this weekend to snap but i'm off on an uni old boyys golf match so there may not be lots of creative shots. yes i know jinky the shot of a good golfer and me is one suggestion but we will have to see!

    good luck everyone

    Thanks Howard Big Smile [:D]

It took a while to get a shot I was happy with mind. I think the neighbours were a bit concerned what the weirdo in the garden with the torch was doing at daft o'clock this morning!

just entered my attempt for the weekend, unless my annual trip to the beach tomorrow throws up any better scenes.

Lets just hope that it fairs better than my last few weekends efforts and manages over one or two votes Sad [:(]Crying [:'(]Embarrassed [:$]

Re: CHAT for weekend competition 10/11 May 2008

    yup, i'm in.

faffing about this morning with a model bike balanced on my mountain bike, held up with a piece of cotton tied to the cottage guttering for extra stability.

a unuausally duck-free shot...though the two halves were the obvious route...

slightly rushed co I shall hopefully be sleeping in tomorrow to avoid the mid morning midges...b4stards that they are...then the footie at 3.pm and hopefully more beer.
