I thought Zuzana got POTD then it went down to MPOTD. Yes when Zuzana was on POTD (not MPOTD) there was only 2 MPOTD. I duno, well it is sorted out now but Zuzana's looked great full size POTD on the front page.

If you mean yesterday, the user deleted their image for some reason after it had been chosen for POTD. Maybe they didn't like the exposure...

You must have refreshed within the minute that I was inputting today's choices, as they 'flow in' from the top.

Just thought I'd mention that I have really enjoyed the POTD recently. It's great to see new galleries and varying styles, some of which aren't my bag but interesting nonetheless. I really like the fact that Ant & Dev bother to review them as they are proper reviews rather than just "well done on POTD".

    Well done guys!

Re today's RPTOD Lovely tone sentiment etc, and appealing at first look. Obviously Chester's should have been the centre of attention (ahem). I've got a but tho' . . I mean I've seen double ovens, but not quite like this one .  . . and a double neck on the tap.

Today (7/5/08) one of the RMPOTD is a copy of one of Matt Harris's pics which has been  editted. ???

How can this be a Readers photo of the day if the gallery owner did not take the pic ?

The same pic features in the mag and is creditted to Matt. Do the admins here not read their own mag ?

Fair point. Another RPOTD has been chosen for the evening shift! Smile [:)]

Congrats to everyone involved in the creation of this image!

As for reading the mag - I don't work for Digital Camera magazine, I'm currently just running the online side of things (this site and POTY) from another area of the office, and no one's come over and given me a copy yet!

JD: I have been meaning to do this for quite a while…….. I have enjoyed your recent choices for  POTD, not only have I found the majority of the front page shots  inspirational but in some case a refreshing change from the normal landscape, macro and portrait we have seen in the past …..well done. Beer [B]

    However

I found today’s choice of POTD  should not have been included on the front page. A large number of the forum members view  this site from work or schools where viewing any form of nudity could result in the viewer being disciplined. I would recommend that   all POTD’s should be “Work Safe” to view or carry a warning.

    Keep up the good work

    Cheers David

Without wishing to get into a porn vs art debate, I felt that the particular image was very delicately handled by the photographer, and fell well within the boundaries of the latter.

On the other hand, and after detailed inspection of the model's face, the digital camera team has decided that we can't be absolutely sure that the model is 'of age' for publication, and while the image remains on this site we have now removed it from the front page.

Nothing like a bit of friday morning controversy Smile [:)]

It's not a major problem Howard... They're only little knockers (which I suspect could be the cause of half the trouble here) Wink [;)]
