    David Constable:

Just one other thing Alex, regarding the sepia comment you made about my bridge shot, that shot is posted as is without any alteration in Photoshop at all, its just the night lighting that gives it that effect

There you go. Another reason as to why this is a great image.

Sad [:(]SOME GREAT SHOTS HERE , MY FAVOURITE IS THE LEOPARD THROUGH GLASS , HARD TO GET SO SHARP

I CANT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO ADD AN ATTACHMENT , IS THERE A TRICK TO IT?

Thanks juju, I appreciate your comments.

To add an attachment, the image needs to be somewhere on the web. then you should be able to copy and paste it to your post.

You can add an image to your gallery and then in the properties of the image, you can set it to 'is this image published - no'. This will stop the image being shown to users that are looking through your gallery.

Then you can open it and copy / paste it here.

I think thats the easiest way...

good idea for a thread. Some excellent pics. I particularly like the leopard, nice crisp eyes and blurred body. The puddy cat of Alfs is nice, had to be quick i'd say.

I really like the bridge shot, I like abstract myself.

Nice shot. It's good to see someone doesn't fall back to photoshop to mimic a technique. Smile [:)]

Btw, thanks to all for the comments on my photo.

    Hi all,

some great shots in this forum; nice to see peoples own personal favorites. The best shot so far for me has to be David Constables Bridge.

below is my favorite; just makes me feel calm!

    Re: Post your best here...

I took this with my Sony T7..It was February and I was in France on business, near La Rochelle, when I saw the piers used by fishermen. The setting sun in late afternoon and the "quietness" of the scene was amazing.

    Re: Post your best here...

This shot is one of my favourites, someone suggested I go for the same shot but with the moon in the background. I will try, but I'm going to have to wait a few months yet so the moon is in the right place in the night sky.

    Re: Post your best here...

This is good guys, i think this thread is a hit and people are getting pleanty of comments especially Alex, the leopard shot is beautifully shot, specially considering it was shot through the glass and you almost cant tell.

Jack2 what a shot that is too, i like it. Bolton Dave also equally a beautifull shot just a thought what will it look like sepia and maybe adding some film grain to make it look very old, just a thought.

    Well here is my effort...

    Blue Sky.JPG

This is one of my most favourite shot.

Keep those pics and comments coming in guys...

    Re: Post your best here...

I remember David Constables Bridge photo from DCM. Like the crop you've done. It makes you concentrate on the wonderful shapes bathed in orange light. And Alexmac's Leopards Brilliant. Good composition but it's the subtle tones that held my view. Bolton Dave I like your train shot though I think it's a shame about the man holding a magazine in the middle of the shot.

Glad to see there's plenty of comments here instead of just posting. Thanks to Ray for starting it.

Here's one from a market in Delhi. It's grainy due to high ISO but I wanted to keep the colours and lighting as they were.
