What annoyed me?

Well, I was mildly amused to sit outside a cafe and watch a 4x4 gingerly reversing down the slipway, braking all the way down to launch his boat (what's wrong with low range gears and using engine braking - that's what I was taught).

I became mildly annoyed when I saw two adults and two kids get into the aforementioned boat without a single life-jacket between them).

I then became very annoyed, when having launched the boat, the 4x4 turned round to jump start the boat! Guess who hadn't done any basic checks such as making sure the boat was seaworthy?

I'm sure the volunteers of the RNLI would rather spend their bank holiday mondays at home with their families than rescuing people who obviously don't give a **** about their own safety.

... And breathe - rant over...

To be honest, I'm not annoyed that it was posted on the site, I'd love to see what people came up with after following my tutorial. I love feedback.

Its the fact that it was chosen for POTD, by a member of the parent company. The original shot was on the CD cover that was in the front of the magazine ffs. Saying they havent got the magazines a bit lame if you ask me.

I see its been taken down, Matt.    But i must say .... I dont know how you got it in the magazine, cos the composition is not exceptional ........lol!!!!!  It has given me a giggle all evening. 

Anyway, let me tell you that i thought your image was exceptional - perfect - and i so enjoyed the tutorial.  I learnt lots and i cant wait to try it out.

I've just found out that the Tour Operator I booked with for Kos in June has ceased trading.
I'd love to squeeze a certain little Greeks' neck very gently until he turns a lovely shade of blue.
I just broke the news to my brother in law who has also booked with the same firm for the same hotel.
