Well I might aswell since i got a free ticket offered to me from themselves

So once again i ask any tips?? Whats the best lens 70-300mm or 50-500mm?

I went to british superbikes last year and got some pics, the camera was new to me at the time and i didnt have a clue to be honest, managed to get some shots  i was happy with but learnt i  needed to work on my focus. Now i know a bit more about settings im happy ill ok with that side

Never been to cars before so need some help here

I found my 70-300mm was just fine at oulton park, not sure on the layout at donny but then again if you have a 50-500mm then why not use it

Managed to get a free ticket for my oh too so no excuses for a day out Just hope the weathers nice!

i would certainly take a monopod, depending on how close you want to get i would imagine the 300mm will be fine, panning the cars looks better than just a static shot, try and get your shutter speed below 1/125th

Have fun! I prefer the bikes but if its a free day out and something else to practice on im game! Plus my 2yr old will love it

Went we for a couple of hours, my eldest whos 2 1/2 loved it! Had a go at panning, think it turned out ok but not 100% sure, i like it for my first time
